It does not backfill history. Tracking starts when the app is installed; earlier changes were never recorded. It does not track every field. A deliberate list of the twenty that matter - tracking everything makes a chatter nobody reads. It is not an approval workflow. Changes are recorded, not held for review. Bulk imports produce bulk entries. That is honest, but expect noise after a mass update.

Installation
- Navigate to Apps.
- Search with keyword to_partner_track_change.
- Press Install.
Instruction
To access the company's list of customers and suppliers, you go to the Contacts module, find or create a new contact. When the information of this contact is changed, the system will record the history of who made the change, when and what changed in the chatter area.
- Contact type: Company or Individual;
- Contact name;
- Address: Specific address, city, state/province, country;
- Tax code;
- Phone number, mobile number;
- Website;
- Language;
- Zip code;
- etc.
