POS Receipt - Viettel S-Invoice Information
Print the Viettel S-Invoice e-invoice number, lookup code and lookup URL on the point of sale receipt, keeping every cash-register sale compliant with Decree 123/2020/ND-CP.
Key Features
Built natively on Odoo/Viindoo to streamline real business operations:
Decree-123 Receipt Disclosure
Prints the invoice number, the secure lookup code and the lookup URL for a Viettel S-Invoice e-invoice right on the printed POS receipt.
One Shared Receipt Layout
Plugs Viettel S-Invoice into the single, provider-agnostic POS receipt layout - no separate template to configure or maintain.
Smart Wait-and-Retry
If Viettel S-Invoice has not returned the invoice number yet, the register briefly checks again before printing, so the receipt is complete rather than blank.
Built on Certified Sinvoice Issuance
Works on top of Odoo's own Viettel S-Invoice point-of-sale integration for issuing e-invoices at checkout - nothing to re-implement.
Benefits
Keeps every cash-register sale invoiced through Viettel S-Invoice compliant with Vietnam's Decree 123/2020/ND-CP e-invoice disclosure requirement.
Customers can verify their e-invoice directly from the printed receipt - invoice number, lookup code and lookup URL, no separate lookup needed.
Once Viettel S-Invoice is configured as the e-invoice provider, the disclosure appears automatically - no separate receipt template to design.
The receipt looks and behaves the same whichever e-invoice provider the company uses, so cashiers need to learn only one layout.
Add more registers or switch e-invoice providers later without losing the compliant receipt disclosure.

Changes log
We continuously improve this module. Recent updates from the official Viindoo repository:
- 2026-07-05 Improved Upgraded to Odoo 18.0: adopted Odoo core's Viettel S-Invoice point-of-sale integration and the shared, provider-agnostic Decree-123 receipt skeleton, dropping this module's own duplicated receipt template.
- 2026-07-05 Fixed Removed a stray condition from the wait-and-retry check so a fully-issued Viettel S-Invoice checkout no longer waits out the full retry window.
- 2025-05-28 Added Store the tax-authority code and display Viettel S-Invoice information on the POS receipt.

Instruction
This module is a thin companion between Viettel S-Invoice and the point of sale. It ships no screen of its own: once it is installed alongside E-Invoice - Viettel S-Invoice Integrator (l10n_vn_viin_accounting_sinvoice), Show EInvoice Information on POS Receipt (l10n_vn_viin_edi_pos) and Odoo core's Viettel S-Invoice point-of-sale module (l10n_vn_edi_viettel_pos), a cash-register sale invoiced through Viettel S-Invoice prints the mandated Decree-123 e-invoice disclosure on the customer receipt - using the same shared receipt layout every e-invoice provider uses.
1. Confirm the required modules are installed.
- Odoo installs E-Invoice - Viettel S-Invoice Integrator, Show EInvoice Information on POS Receipt and the Viettel S-Invoice point-of-sale module automatically as dependencies when you install this module from Apps.
2. Configure Viettel S-Invoice as the company's e-invoice provider.
- Go to Accounting > Configuration > Settings, open the Vietnam E-Invoicing section, and select Viettel S-Invoice as the Provider. See the E-Invoice - Viettel S-Invoice Integrator user guide for the connection details (service account, template, serial).
3. Enable automatic Viettel S-Invoice issuance on the point of sale.
- On the point of sale configuration used at the register, turn on automatic Viettel S-Invoice issuance and pick a default e-invoice symbol, so every finalized, invoiced order is sent to Viettel S-Invoice at checkout.
4. Complete a point of sale order that generates an invoice.
- At the register, add products, click Pay, turn on the invoice option, choose a payment method, then Validate. The order is invoiced and issued to Viettel S-Invoice.
5. Read the Decree-123 disclosure on the printed receipt.
- On the receipt screen, the customer's name, address and tax number appear first, followed by the mandated e-invoice disclosure for the Viettel S-Invoice provider: the invoice number, the secure lookup code and the lookup URL, rendered by the shared, provider-agnostic receipt skeleton. The invoice number and lookup code always print once the e-invoice is issued; the tax authority code row appears whenever Viettel S-Invoice returns it for that transaction, so the customer can look the e-invoice up either way.
6. Give the register a moment on a pending e-invoice.
- If Viettel S-Invoice has not yet returned the invoice number when the sale is validated, the register briefly keeps checking before printing, so the receipt carries the complete disclosure instead of a blank one.
