Description
The Problem
E-commerce is an inevitable trend in the era of booming technology.
Currently, Odoo sells products on e-commerce platforms as manufacturers or retail agents, which poses challenges for expansion when merchants want to sell their products on the e-commerce platform of the marketplace.
Expanding the model to allow merchants to participate in showcasing and selling their products on the e-commerce platform not only increases revenue for the marketplace but also aids in brand development and optimizes advertising.
The Solution
- This module allows merchants to showcase and sell their products on their e-commerce platform. In return, we will charge a percentage transaction fee for each product sold.
Key Features
- Add 2 partner types: Merchant and Store.
- Users at the portal can register as Merchants of the e-commerce platform immediately after creating an account.
- Allow Merchants to manage their stores, products, and customer records.
- Allow merchants to view a list of their Marketplace commission fees, Marketplace commission fee reports.
- Allow e-commerce staff to manage marketplace commission fees for the Merchants they oversee.
- Configure e-commerce settings, such as Merchant Product Categories, Merchant Categories, Marketplace Commission Fee Rules.
- Allow e-commerce staff and accountants of the e-commerce platform to generate marketplace commission fee invoices.
- Schedule automatic jobs to generate marketplace commission fee invoices for Merchants periodically, such as monthly, weekly, or daily.
- Schedule automatic jobs to send alerts to e-commerce management for soon-to-expire records in the Merchant Product Categories.
