Problem
In a loyalty program, suppose a user has accumulated 8,000 points and wants to redeem 2 units of promotion Product A (400 points/unit) and 3 units of promotion Product B (600 points/unit). By default, if the user selects Product A first, the system will consume all 8,000 points to redeem the maximum possible quantity of Product A (20 units), regardless of any adjustments made to the quantity. This prevents the user from redeeming Product B as intended.
Solution
The Sale Loyalty Patch 1 module addresses this issue by:
- Redeeming promotional products one by one:
- By selecting Claim Free Product One By One in the Reward interface, when clicking the Redeem button in the sales order interface, the system allows the user to redeem products one at a time instead of consuming all points at once.
- Example: A user with 8,000 points wants to redeem 2 units of Product A and 3 units of Product B. After redeeming 2 units of Product A (800 points consumed), the user still has 7,200 points left to redeem 3 units of Product B (1,800 points consumed). The remaining 5,400 points can be used for other rewards.
- Adjusting quantities directly on the sales order:
- If the user wants to redeem multiple products at once, they can modify the quantities directly in the sales order line.
- Example: The user enters a quantity of 2 units of Product A and 3 units of Product B. The system automatically deducts a total of 2,600 points corresponding to the selected products.
Limitations
- If the user enters a quantity that exceeds the maximum redeemable amount, the system currently does not issue a warning or prevent the action.

- High flexibility: Users can redeem products step by step or adjust quantities as needed without being restricted by default logic.
- Optimized point usage: Reduces wasted points and enhances the user experience.
