Add filters, track change fields on contracts, and manage contract addendums
By default, managing labor contracts in Odoo has certain limitations. For example, changes to contract details often require creating a new contract and archiving the old one, which does not align well with real-world practices.
Key Features
Built natively on Odoo/Viindoo to streamline real business operations:
Manage contract addendums
Allows users to create addendums for a main contract without invalidating it.
Addendums can update specific fields such as:
- Job position.
- Salary adjustments.
- Contract terms, etc.
- Supports defining validity periods (start and end dates) or indefinite addendums.
Add action buttons to update employee contract stages
New Stage:
Start: Start the labor contract.
Running Stage:
- Set to Renew: Move contract to *To Renew* status.
- Close: Move contract to *Expired* status.
- Cancel: Cancel the labor contract.
Expired Stage:
Renew: Renew contract and move back to *Running* status.
Cancelled Stage:
Set to New: Set contract back to *New* status.
Automatically track changes after users update information in certain fields on contracts such as
- Contract name.
- Job position.
- Trial period end date.
Add an 'All Contracts' menu to provide a kanban interface for
- Monitoring contract progress visually.
- Quickly updating contract status by dragging and dropping kanban cards.

Navigate to Employees ‣ Employees ‣ All Contracts:
Here you can track the progress of the contract through the New, Running, Expired, and Cancelled stages. In addition, you can drag/drop contracts to stage transitions easily.
