Installation
- Navigate to Apps.
- Search with keyword to_stock_equipment_bom_kit.
- Press Install.
After installing this module, the following module will be automatically installed: to_stock_equipment, viin_maintenance and purchase_mrp.
Situation
Instruction video: Stock Equipment Bom Kit
The ABC company wants to manage a product kit including various parts. For example, a computer kit will include a monitor, mouse, keyboard, CPU. After purchasing this product kit, the company will hand it over to the employee in charge.
How to work with the Stock Equipment Bom Kit module
Create equipment by receiving
Step 1: Create a purchase order for the product kit.
Step 2: Receive the product kit.
Step 3: On the receipt, switch to the Main Equipments tab. Here, the Create Equipments option is automatically enabled for this product.
Step 4: For sub-products, users attach the corresponding serial number and the system also automatically selects Create Equipments.
Step 5: After confirming the receipt, you can view the equipment by pedigree.
