What it does
- Allow employees to create stock allocation requests for products with desired quantities, source and destination warehouses and dates.
- Allow managers to approve or refuse the requests.
Key Features
- Employees submit a stock allocation request for one or more products with:
- A desired quantity;
- A source warehouse;
- A destination warehouse;
- On a specific date.
- Managers approve or refuse the request.
- Once approved, the Inventory app will find or create a new resupply route between the warehouses based on the source and destinated warehouses, then create necessary transfers to allocate products accordingly.

Installation
- Navigate to Apps.
- Search with keyword to_stock_product_allocation_approval.
- Press Install.

Approval app configuration
Set up stock allocation approval levels
Navigate to Approval > Configuration > Approval Types, the Stock Allocation Approval type is already set up by default. Click Edit to configure different approval levels before starting the warehouse allocation approval process.
Create a stock allocation request
To create a stock allocation request, the warehouse staff needs to navigate to the Approval app, search for the Stock Allocation Approval type then press Create Request.
The staff adds information to the approval request then press Save > Submit to send it to the manager. Remember to add Product, Quantity and select desired Destination Warehouse.
Note: To have your employees be able to enter the inventory allocation lines on the request, you need to grant the Inventory access rights to them.
Complete the approval process
Once the above pickings are completed, the approval request is automatically changed to the Done stage.
Navigate to Inventory > Reporting > Inventory Report to check the current stocks available in the warehouse to that you have just allocated stocks.
